Spirited Paintings by Jill Peckelun

Jill Peckelun grew up on a farm in Lebanon County, PA.  She received a Bachelor of Arts from Albright College, Reading and moved to Allentown where she studied drawing and painting at local art schools.  Inspired by the self discipline of T.S. Eliot and Wallace Stevens, she took private classes in painting with John N. Booth for over eight years while employed by the City of Allentown.  In 1999, Jill began painting full time and continues to do so.  Although she paints everywhere she goes, her home based studio, Sweet Earth Art, is located in Allentown, PA.
